By Dutch law, organizations that have people employed are required to have so-called Emergency Response Officers (EROs), or BHV-ers in Dutch, in the workplace.
EROs are the first point of contact when an emergency occurs in the workplace, e.g. a fire or a person becoming unwell.

It isn’t enough to know if an ERO is present in the building. In a multi-floor building or large workplace, colleagues need to know exactly on which floor and sometimes even which part of the office an ERO is located.
When an emergency occurs the ERO nearest by can then be immediately alerted.
StandBy Solutions uses the Crownstone IPS to enable accurate indoor localization in their app. With an easy integration, StandBy Solutions’ BHV-app gets accurate localization information from the Crownstone IPS directly into the app.
The BHV-app is now able to detect on floor and room level inside a building where EROs are.
